Preview and publish

Edits go live as soon as they succeed — there is no Publish button to remember. The reply tells you the change is live on your site, and gives you a link to open it.

Seeing it

The preview beside the chat updates immediately, and Lontly scrolls to whatever changed and flashes it — so you can see the edit rather than hunt for it. Lontly also rewrites the page's static HTML, so search engines and visitors without JavaScript get the new wording too.

Undoing

Each message in the chat has an Undo control. It returns your site to the state before that change, leaving anything you did afterwards alone. See Versions and rollback for going further back.
