Connect a domain you own
Point a domain you bought elsewhere at your Lontly site.
Lontly does not sell domains. Buy one from any registrar you like, then add it here and point its DNS at us.
- 1
Add the domain in Lontly
Open Domains, choose Add domain, and enter it without https:// or www — for example acme.com.
- 2
Add the DNS records at your registrar
Copy the two records below into your registrar's DNS panel.
- 3
Wait for DNS to propagate
Usually a few minutes; occasionally up to an hour. Lontly re-checks automatically.
- 4
Verify
Once the records resolve, the domain flips to Active and HTTPS is issued for it.

Certificates
You do not have to do anything about HTTPS. Once your DNS resolves to us, a certificate is issued automatically on the first request and renewed for as long as the domain stays pointed at Lontly.
Making it primary
A site can have several domains attached but exactly one primary — the address shown in your dashboard and used in links. Set it from the Domains screen; the others keep resolving.
